Alijis is the 2nd fastest growing big barangay of Bacolod from 1990 to
2000 in terms of
percentage growth and absolute population.

Alijis is among the two barangays which grew by more than 5,000
persons from 1995 to
2000 and the only big barangay that grew by more than 50% during the
same period.

For the years 1995 to 2000, average population growth of Alijis was
9.5% per year as
compared to the 3.83% for the province. ( 3.83% population growth of
the province is
based on the 2000-2005 projection of the NSO)
In the Middle of Bacolod's Biggest Barangays
Alijis is adjacent to and in the middle of the 2nd to the 5th biggest Barangays of Bacolod-
Taculing(2nd) , Singcang(3rd) and Mansilingan(4th), Tangub(5th).
And because Alijis does not yet have an established Commercial Area,
investing in
Palm Drive
would be the best opportunity to invest in the 2nd fastest growing
barangay in Bacolod City which
is located in the middle of the 4 out of 5 biggest barangays of
Bacolod City.
